|I LOVE the way /YOU/ are so in love with Tatiana !!! ♥♥♥ (and yes, she's amazing, as an actor AND a woman AND a human being !)|
i’m going to try to not write an essay. (clearly i failed)
aside from the incredible range and overall talent that she has, which is impressive in itself, everything i have seen or read about her is so positive and i know i don’t know her, but i’m pretty sure she’s the most gracious person around. if you listen to any interview that she has, you are guaranteed to hear/read/see that she will give credit to everyone around her and just laugh/make a cute face and completely gloss over the fact that she is insanely talented. i swear she thinks that all of her success is due to everyone that has surrounded her on the various projects that she has been in. and the other thing about her responses are that they are so genuine and non-contrived. it’s not forced gratitude. it’s her just being who she is and that’s so rare, that i am always impressed. she’s clearly very passionate about what she does, which is inspiring no matter what you want to do.
she’s actually not much older than me and i look up to her. i’m pessimistic and cranky already and i see how positive and just how much of a good person she is that i want to be less critical and ornery. and i know she didn’t set out to be a role model, but i think she would be a perfect example. do people even have those these days? (the fact that i have to ask this question just proves the sad state of affairs) orphan black has a very prevalent young female fanbase and i am so pleased that they get to see that people like her actually exist. she speaks up for women, she speaks up for the LGBT community, she is genuinely interested in her fans, and as said before she’s gracious and crazy talented. these are only a few things, and i didn’t even mention the fact that she’s adorable.
anyways, long rant. all of which to say, yes, it’s because of all three of those things and more that i think she’s the greatest.
